The elected chairman of Katsina Local Government, Hon. Isah Miqdad AD Saude, has provided financial assistance worth over ₦3 million to APC party leaders and members within the local government area.

The funds were officially disbursed on Monday, March 10, 2025, at the APC local government office in Katsina. Beneficiaries included party executives, youth groups, and community members.

In his address, Hon. Aliyu Abubakar Albaba, the state assembly member representing Katsina LGA, commended the chairman for his generosity. He recalled that Hon. Miqdad had previously provided similar support while serving as a special adviser to the governor on media affairs.

Breakdown of the Financial Support

According to Muhammad Sudees, chairman of the disbursement committee, the funds were allocated as follows:

• 12 Ward APC Leaders – ₦117,000 each
• Local Government APC Chairman – ₦200,000
• State-Level APC Representative – ₦200,000
• Youth Group – ₦200,000
• Kudu II Ward Election Coordinator – ₦150,000
• Miqqida Media & Grassroots – ₦100,000
• Education Committee – ₦150,000
• Kudu II Women Mobilization – ₦50,000
• Ramadan Palliative (200 Beneficiaries: Men & Women) – ₦1,350,000

Total Disbursed: ₦3,654,000

Speaking at the event, Hon. Isah Miqdad AD Saude stated that the initiative aimed to support the party and assist community members, particularly those who contributed to his election victory. He assured that more significant support would be provided in the coming years.

He also urged the public to continue praying for Governor Malam Dikko Umar, PhD, especially during the holy month of Ramadan, for the continued success of his administration.

Other speakers at the event included Alh. Kabir Usman Amoga, APC Chairman of Katsina LG, Dr. Kabir Moto, and several others.

The gathering was attended by the elected Vice Chairman of Katsina LG, Hon. Usman Yusuf Saulawa, along with Hon. Muhammad Nuhu Nagaske, elected councillors, and party stakeholders.
