Calm Restored at FUDMA as Students Begin Departure Following Temporary Closure

Calm has returned to the Federal University Dutsin-Ma (FUDMA) after the management announced a one-week closure of the institution. Following the directive, students have begun packing their belongings and leaving the campus in an orderly manner.

Investigations by Katsina Times confirm that the students did not vandalize any university property during their protest. Instead, they expressed their grievances peacefully and with restraint. Security personnel have also begun reopening access roads, allowing for a gradual resumption of movement within and around the campus.

In response to circulating rumors, the Vice-Chancellor of FUDMA clarified to Katsina Times that the student who was shot during the incident had no links to banditry, contrary to speculations. He urged the public to rely on verified information and assured that the university remains committed to ensuring the safety of all students and staff.
