In a groundbreaking effort to uplift orphans and the underprivileged in Katsina State, the Dan Guruf Foundation, under the leadership of young politician Alhaji Mas’udu Abdulkadir Dan Guruf, has introduced an ambitious initiative known as "Marayun Dikko". This humanitarian program aims to provide financial support and essential supplies to vulnerable individuals across the state.  

The "Marayun Dikko" initiative, which aligns with the vision of the Katsina State Government led by Governor Malam Dikko Umar Radda, PhD, CON, operates on a monthly basis. At the end of each month, the foundation selects 100 orphans and small-scale entrepreneurs, offering them financial capital to enhance their businesses, as well as food supplies to alleviate hardship.

The foundation’s team, under the direct supervision of Alhaji Mas’udu Abdulkadir Dan Guruf, moves discreetly through various neighborhoods, identifying those in genuine need without bias or favoritism. The selection process prioritizes individuals based on their level of hardship, ensuring that aid reaches the most deserving.  

Committed to silent philanthropy, Alhaji Mas’udu Abdulkadir Dan Guruf has gained widespread recognition for his unwavering dedication to supporting orphans, empowering women through business grants, and assisting unemployed youths—without any political ambition or expectation of reward. His foundation operates round the clock, often conducting surprise visits both day and night to distribute relief materials, thereby avoiding unnecessary publicity and ensuring seamless execution of the initiative.
