As the countdown to the Katsina State local government elections nears its final hours, the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate for Katsina Local Government, Honorable Isah Miqdad AD Saude, intensified his campaign efforts on Tuesday, February 11. He visited key wards, including Yamma I, Yamma II, and Kudu I, all within Katsina city, to engage with residents, grassroots supporters, and community elders.
A large crowd gathered to welcome the candidate, expressing their support and offering prayers for his success. The campaign rally drew people from different walks of life—youth, women, community leaders, and wealthy individuals—all eager to hear his vision for the local government.
Several influential political figures and community leaders were present at the event, offering their endorsements and words of encouragement. Among them were Alhaji Iro Teacher, a former advisor to the Aminu Masari administration; Alhaji Lolo Dakare; Alhaji Yusuf Barmo; and Alhaji Musa Yusuf Gafai, a former candidate for the House of Representatives and leader of the Dikko Project Movement. Other notable attendees included Abubakar Musa (councilor), Bala Mafiya, Shehu Abba, Yusuf Jibril, Abubakar Usman Sarki, Babangida Nasamu (a former Katsina State House of Assembly member), and Malam Ali Kaura.
During his address, Honorable Isah Miqdad AD Saude emphasized his commitment to improving the lives of youth, women, and people with special needs. He pledged to create opportunities for education, employment, and better living conditions, assuring the electorate that, if elected, his administration would prioritize their welfare and development.
As the election approaches, the APC candidate’s engagement with the people of Katsina Local Government continues to gain momentum, with his campaign message resonating strongly among supporters.
