It did not come to me as a surprise that the Nigerian President, Bola Ahmed Tinubu has cannibalised the College of Aviation, Zaria into six campuses, with one each located at the (six) geo political zones of the country. The planned locations of the Aviation Colleges are as follow: Zaria, Lagos, Akure, Ilorin, Osubi, and Yola.
The support President Bola Ahmed Tinubu enjoys from Ehaineze Igbo for his policies and reelection in 2027 is in the interest of the region’s secession agenda, as evident in the perennial battle for the soul of Lagos, between Yorubas, who see themselves as natives of the land, and the Igbos, who see themselves as the builders of the place.
Then Senator Tinubu’s loss of the 2023 Presidential election to Peter Obi, an Igbo and Presidential Candidate of the Labour Party (LP) in Lagos, where Tinubu was the first elected civilian governor of the Fourth Republic, is proof of that old age animosity between the two tribes
However, the two tribes are all of a sudden chummy, with the president backing a son of the area in Senator Godswill Akpabio for the Senate Presidency, which makes the former Akwa Ibom governor, the number three man in the hierarchy of power in the country. In case his trustworthiness is capable of taking him to anywhere but behind bars, the famous errant son of Justice Oputa (late), Charlie Boy, commonly known as Area Fada, once described the Senate President as “one of our worst” in the East.
The Works Minister and former Governor of Ibonyi State, Mr. David Umahi, is from the region, as is the influential Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (Mr. Nyson Wike), himself a former Governor of Rivers State in the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
But a Yoruba insider, who knows the in and out of the Nigerian aviation industry, told us that President Bola Tinubu had no plan to build any other campus, but just a part of the strategy to move the college from Zaria to Yorubaland, in order to make the South West the thriving aviation capital of Africa.
According to the insider, “The scheme is disguised as "decentralisation", was allegedly birthed by Mr Biodun Taiwo and Ms Florence Toyin Olorunfemi, both members of the Governing Council of the Nigerian College of Aviation Technology, Zaria.
“Before we unveil the hidden agenda behind this master strategy, let's look at how Tinubu strategically positioned his kinsmen in strategic positions in order to take over the aviation industry. We will then go ahead and prove that the eventual relocation of NCAT from Zaria to Yorubaland is the final stage of this agenda.
“Immediately he came into office, the president sacked all Arewa Directors in the aviation industry, and replaced them with his Yoruba Kinsmen. He appointed Mrs. Olubunmi Oluwaseun Kuku as the Managing Director, Mr Adetunji Odunowo as the Managing Director of the Nigerian Airspace Management Agency, and Professor Charles Anosike as the Director-General of the Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NIMET).
“Mr. Joseph Shaka Imalighwe was appointed as the Rector of the Nigerian College of Aviation Technology (NCAT) and Director-General of the Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA), is Captain Chris Najomo, with The Minister of Aviation, another Yoruba man, in the person of Mr Festus Keyamo.
“As if he knew of the relocation plan, the newly appointed Rector of NCAT Zaria, Mr Shaka Joseph illegally auctioned/sold the College's newly-acquired helicopters (Bell 206 Helicopter 206-L4 BZB and BZC-M2061 L4) at a price below 60% of their cost price. The issue is with the National Assembly.
“Now, the Nigerian College of Aviation Technology, Zaria is operating without a single helicopter! Together with Festus Keyamo, he attempted to relocate the critical firefighting simulation equipment from NCAT Zaria to Lagos, it took the intervention of Northern Elders Forum to scuttle the plan.
“This came after the Federal Aviation Authority of Nigeria Headquarters was relocated from it's original location in Abuja to Lagos. At this point, we should ask ourselves this question: why is Tinubu trying to build five more campuses when the only one we have does not even have a single helicopter for training?
In 2005, the late nationalist and one time Minister of Special Duties, Alhaji Wada Nas, had questioned a Yoruba President, General Olusegun Obasanjo the rationale of moving the “School of Aviation Technology, Zaria to Enugu.
According to him, “The 1999 election, which ushered in the Obasanjo administration, was never a war that produced the victor and the vanquished. It was never a battle in which any section of this country was defeated. It was never one for the punishment of the North. It was a fair democratic game in which the North participated as an equal stakeholder.
“No sooner he came to power than he moved some departments from the North to the South. This done, some military formations were also removed down from the region to Lagos. His new project now is to move the School of Aviation Technology Zaria to Enugu in order to widen his standing in the area.
“What are the reasons being given? Bad weather. For almost thirty years of the existence of the school, no one ever felt that the school was facing the problem of bad whether in Zaria except Obasanjo and some of his ministers. For all the years the school has been producing pilots and aviation engineers in the supposed rough weathers of Zaria, no one ever complained, except now that President Obasanjo is in power to teach the North the lessons of its life.
“Since weather is the sole hidden agenda for the movement of the school from Zaria to Enugu, we would soon perhaps be told that the airports in Kano, Maiduguri, Kaduna, Yola, Ilorin, Abuja and Jos all having the same weather as Zaria, and some indeed worse, may soon be moved to fair weather locations in the South.
“We are not unaware of the subtle attempts to reduce the Aminu Kano International Airport Kano, one of the oldest in the country, to a local airport. We do not know if the minister of aviation, Dr. Chikwe, is a plant to dismantle some aviation facilities in the North in line with some hidden agenda. When Northerners complain bitterly that Obasanjo has some hidden agenda against them, they have their reasons, and the concluded plot to move the aviation school in Zaria to Enugu is a good example.
“Let men of good will prevail on the president to disembark on the project of moving the aviation school from Zaria to Enugu in the great interest of the society. Let the president himself see the minus in this gamble. It is in his greater interest to do so”.
A further proof that President Tinubu PLANNED to deal with the Northern part of Nigeria is in the statement that came out from the nation’s seat of power, Villa. The statement boasted that "Only death can stop me from winning the 2027 Presidential election. Not even God has the power to prevent my victory, let alone the Northern cabals”.
Since there has not been a statement from the Presidential Villa disowning the statement as ‘misquoted’ by the media, it is therefore assumed that it must have been issued that way from the office that is supposed to be occupied by a Muslim President, who was ‘elected’ on an all Muslims ticket.
Even though his foot soldiers were quick to deny that ‘GOD’ was the word used, most readers would still believe in the ‘misquoted’ version by the media, because it was not the first or only time that President Tinubu went against God. A ‘CORRECTION’ to God’s sharing formula to a deceased person’s wealth was made under his human supervision, which included the government among the beneficiaries of the wealth. God did NOT include the government as a beneficiary, but President Tinubu did.
And before then, there was the case of the Samoa Island Agreement, in which all countries wishing for loans from the World Bank (WB) must agree to allow members of Lesbians, Gays, Bisexuals, Transgender, Queers and others with different sexual orientation (LGBTQ+) to carry out their practice without let or hinderance in their country. Nigeria went to the bank, cap in hand for a loan, despite the condition. The same condition was flatly rejected by the president’s predecessors, including a non Muslim among them.
The LGBTQ+ was the creation of the devil-worshipping Zionists, to challenge the almighty God, Who prohibited and seriously warned against same sex relationship. The Zionists regard God as their perpetual opponent, Whose injunctions are for obeying and regarding ONLY in the reverse.
The 82nd Golden Glove Annual Award took place in Los Angeles, California, on 5-1-2025, where some anti-God statements were said to have been made gleefully by some attendees, and these could have led to His wrath, resulting in the raging fire which has been razing the city for days now. The apostasy is akin to what the Nigerian President committed when he declared that “Not even God has the power to stop my victory”.
Tinubu wants Nigeria to be under the TOTAL control of his tribe people, hence their appointment to any office where money can be made. His supporters falsely accused the immediate past President Muhammadu Buhari of ‘Northernising’ the country during his time as the number one citizen in the country.
But fomer President Buhari chose a Southern son as his Special Adviser on Media, Chose a Southerner as the Governor of the Nigerian Central Bank, chose a Southern person as his minister of Works, made a Southern woman as his minister of Finance, appointed a Southerner as minister of petroleum resources, gave a Southerner the portfolio of Industry, Trade and Investment, and appointed five (5) Southerners out of his eight (8)-member economic team. But President Tinubu appointed ONLY people from the South, notably the Yoruba, to all these positions, without any apology to the North.
Dr. Garus Gololo, a fierce defender of the North and APC national stalwart, recently weighed in against the president’s subtle attempt to render the North bereft of the Zaria College of Aviation Technology, that was built there for ages by the Northern Administration of Sir Ahmadu Bello, the Premier and Sardauna of Sokoto. The institution was not established by the federal government, by the way.
The Nasarawa State former Army officer’s take on the matter is that: “The Nigerian College of Aviation, Zaria was built in 1963 by the Premier of the Northern Region, Ahmadu Bello, the Sardauna of Sokoto. It was built for the Region from the revenue obtained from the sale of groundnut and cotton. Tell me where the President will get the land to build such a school in Lagos”.
Another great nationalist and fierce protector of Northern interest, Hajiya Naja’atu Mohammed, is always wont of telling the world how presidential candidate Bola Ahmed Tinubu invited her to France, where she declined to accept his money for and back, only to confess that he had nothing on offer for the North, only for her. She flatly rejected him, described him as unserious and came back to Nigeria alone.
The President’s Minister of works, Mr. David Umahi, who served as Governor of Ibonyi State from 2015 to 2023, only comes to the North to campaign for Mr. Tinubu’s reelection in 2027, but never (not even once) to work. On the other few occasions he was in the region, the minister of works came to cancel or dismantle anything that is beneficial to the place.
He canceled the road construction contract linking Abuja, the Federal Capital (FC) and the commercial ancient city of Kano, which needless to say, would have immensely improved transportation and subsequently life in the nation, but more so in the Northern region. A substantial portion of the road was awarded to Hitech construction company in which the president’s son was said to own half, and the remainder by the Labenese born and Paris based Gilbert Chagoury.
The minister of works even went to the unheard lengths of hiring six Senior Advocates of Nigeria (SANs) to go to the court and file a counter suit to deny the request of some groups to have access to the files of the humongous $13 billion Lagos to Calabar Coastal Highway contract awarded by the President singlehandedly to a company alleged to be half owned by his son. The son that is now jostling to be the next governor of Lagos, a position once held by his GREEDY father.
Another of his staunch anti North ministers, began his assignment with a promise to “deal
with any cow that passes through the Federal Capital (FC), erroneously believing that ALL the grazing cows belong to the so called ‘Hausa/Fulani people. He was immediately called to order by the real owners (mostly Southerners, and other non Hausa/Fulani ‘big people’).
The same minister vowed to “Remove the National Mosque from its cite”, claiming that it was built on an earlier designated road within the Federal Capital. That vow , became impossible for him to fulfil, because he was later to find out that not all the users of the Mosque are his hated Hausa/Fulani Muslims.
Despite all these shenanigans by the president, some rotten and self serving so called Northern leaders, and some equally selfish ‘commoners’, campaign for the president’s second term, which would lprovide him with the power and time to expose his real wicked self. If he could treat the region and most of its people with a hidden hatred, he would surely redouble that uncomplimentary effort in his second term.
Such people are exemplified by the politician who would rather have the North burn to ashes, as long as he realised his inordinate and undeserved ambition of becoming the number one citizen of his state. There are also their cronies, their praise singing media and boys, many of whom do not appear to care about what may happen to their region, as long as they get money, no matter how dirty it is. They are busy drumming up support for the 2027 reelection bid of the CORRUPT and clearly COMPROMISED and CLUELESS Nigerian President.
Soon, those who made and are still making the country extremely hard for the poor citizens to survive, will start to soften their attitude towards the common person, because of the forthcoming elections in 2027, a little over two years to come. They of course plan to rig their way to victory, since the fact has not escaped them that rigging remains the only option for them to win and continue their CORRUPT, BAD, INCOMPETENT and CLUELESS governance in the country for another four years.
But Nigeria and Nigerians want leaders that would be preoccupied with the thought of ‘the next generation, NOT the next election’. We also deserve electorates who will NOT give their vote to fulfil their urgent NEED for the ‘next fix’, at the expense of the future of their children and grandchildren.
There is a present and clear need in the country for the types of the Governor of Ibonyi State, Right Honourable Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru, and the former Governor of Cross River State, Senator (Professor) Ben Ayade, who think of and about the citizens of their state, not of and about themselves.
May God NOT only GIVE Nigeria such leaders, but also make them very just, honest and trustworthy ones who would govern everybody in the country without fear or favour. May he make most of the followers obedient to Him and their leaders, NOT the type who would sell their souls to the devil for a few Naira, to satisfy their worldly desires. May He also NOT give the opportunity to the weak ones, like the writer of this article (ME) to LEAD, because of their weakness to compromise (abuse) the trust entrusted to them, at the slightest opportunity they get.
