In an era marked by challenges and opportunities, the Gafai Charitable Foundation, in partnership with Gizmo Dankaita Office, has taken a decisive step toward shaping the future of Katsina State. On Saturday, January 11, 2025, the "Empowering Future Leaders Program" was officially launched at an inspiring event held at Continental Park. The program, designed to nurture leadership, innovation, and entrepreneurial skills among secondary school students, is a bold response to the pressing need for youth empowerment and sustainable community development.  

Speaking at the event, Dr. Musa Yusuf Gafai, CEO of Gafai Communication and the visionary behind the Gafai Charitable Foundation, described the initiative as a transformative journey aimed at preparing young people to become architects of change in their communities. “This program reflects our unwavering commitment to equipping SS3 students at Katsina Central, Government Secondary School, with the skills, knowledge, and mindset required to thrive in an increasingly complex world. Empowering our youth is not just an option—it’s a necessity,” Dr. Gafai said.  

Dr. Gafai highlighted the critical role of collaboration, expressing profound gratitude to Gizmo Dankaita Office for their partnership. He emphasized that collective efforts amplify the impact of such initiatives, adding, “Together, we are fostering a culture of opportunity, innovation, and resilience that will benefit not only these students but also the entire state.”  

Abdulhafiz Haruna Kaita, CEO of Gizmo Dankaita Office, lauded the program as a timely intervention aimed at bridging the gap between academic learning and practical career readiness. In his address, he stated, “The youth are the backbone of any nation. By introducing mentorship programs, virtual learning modules, and innovative training approaches, we are equipping them to lead effectively and contribute meaningfully to society.” Abdulhafiz commended Dr. Gafai for his foresight and dedication, describing him as “a beacon of hope and a role model for aspiring leaders.”  

The event also featured thought-provoking contributions from other notable speakers, including Asma’u Haruna Kaita and Amina Mustapha, who underscored the spiritual and communal dimensions of leadership. Asma’u urged participants to embrace Qur'anic values, emphasizing that compassion and integrity are the cornerstones of effective leadership. Amina, on her part, called for a collective responsibility to mentor and nurture young talents, ensuring they unlock their full potential and become agents of positive change.  

In a heartfelt message, Suleman Sada Lugga, Deputy CEO of Gizmo Dankaita Office, applauded the initiative’s holistic approach to youth empowerment. “Dr. Gafai’s leadership is a testament to the power of innovation and empathy.
