KATSINA SGS TASKS CIVIL SERVANTS ON DEDICATION TO DUTY

Civil servants in Katsina State have been charged to rededicate themselves to duty in order to earn public respect and honour at the end of the service.
The Secretary to the government of the State, Alhaji Abdullahi Garba Faskari gave the charge during a send forth organised in honour of the Permanent Secretary, Cabinet and Security, Alhaji Salisu Abdu who retired from the service.
Alhaji Abdullahi Faskari said that civil servants are the driving force for all government's policies and programmes and must therefore be committed to ensure successful implementation of every program.
He described Alhaji Salisu Abdu as one of the best staff he had worked with, in terms of endurance, hardwork and patience.
The Secretary to the Government congratulated Alhaji Salisu Abdu for rising through the ranks and reached the pinnacle of the service and successfully retired.
He prayed for him Allah's guidance and success in his future endeavours.
Others who spoke at the occasion including the permanent secretary, political and common service, Alhaji Mustapha Zubairu extolled the good qualities of Alhaji Salisu Abdu whom they would missed.
Alhaji Salisu Abdu had retired on Thursday, 2nd January, 2025 having attained the 35 statutory years of his active service.
