On Monday, the Chairman of the Katsina State Hisbah Board, Dr. Aminu Usman Abu Ammar, led the newly appointed Deputy Commander General for Special Services (DCG/SS), Dr. Ibrahim Iyal Gafai, to the Hisbah training camp in Katsina. The visit was part of efforts to enhance the skills of the board's operatives through government-sponsored training programs.
This development follows Dr. Ibrahim Iyal Gafai's formal assumption of duty as the Deputy Commander General at the Katsina State Hisbah Board. His appointment marks a strategic step toward improving the board’s operations and outreach.
Dr. Ibrahim’s assumption of office was marked by a warm reception from family members, colleagues, and well-wishers, who accompanied him to his new post and offered prayers for his success in discharging his duties effectively.
Notably, Dr. Ibrahim is the son of Sheikh Iyal Gafai, a prominent Islamic scholar and revered figure of the Tijjaniyya sect in Katsina State. His appointment is expected to bring a blend of intellectual and spiritual leadership to the Hisbah Board's activities.
