Musa Gafai Defects to APC, Cites Governor Dikko Radda's Remarkable Achievements

Youth leader and renowned entrepreneur, Honorable Musa Yusuf Gafai, has announced his defection from the opposition People's Democratic Party (PDP) to the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), attributing his decision to the impressive achievements of Governor Malam Dikko Umar Radda.

In a statement issued on Thursday, Hon. Musa Yusuf Gafai, a former candidate for the Katsina Central Federal Constituency seat in the House of Representatives, revealed that his move to the APC was motivated by his desire to support Governor Dikko Radda in advancing the development of Katsina State.

"I decided to leave the PDP for the APC because of the impactful initiatives of Governor Malam Dikko Radda in enhancing security, promoting education, and building a new Katsina State. His projects have reached even the remotest areas, transforming lives," Hon. Musa Gafai stated.

He further emphasized that since the inception of Governor Radda's administration, Katsina State has witnessed significant progress in various sectors. This, he said, inspired him to return home and contribute to the ongoing transformation.

Hon. Musa Yusuf Gafai, who previously served as a youth leader and Director of Mobilization in the PDP's campaign council, expressed his admiration for the governor's leadership. He remarked, “I am proud of how Governor Dikko Radda is steering the affairs of Katsina State. I am confident that under his leadership, the state will attain enviable heights, becoming a model for other states in Nigeria."

He also recalled being among the pioneers who championed Governor Dikko Radda's candidacy, having founded the group “Katsina Ta Dikko” to support his vision. According to him, his return to the APC feels like coming back home.

Hon. Musa Gafai's defection to the APC underscores the growing appeal of Governor Radda's administration, particularly among youths and key stakeholders in Katsina State politics. This move reinforces the APC's strength in the state and its commitment to steering Katsina towards greater progress.
