The committee will be chaired by the fifth Waziri of Katsina, Professor Sani Abubakar Lugga, with Dr. Muttaka Rabe Darma as the vice-chairman, and the Director of Information from the Secretary to the State Government's office as the secretary.

The committee has been given a two-week deadline to submit its report. Their responsibilities include reviewing the books' content, images, and overall presentation, and assessing their accuracy, quality, and relevance to the history and culture of Katsina State.

Other tasks include identifying any errors or inaccuracies in the books, providing recommendations, seeking additional information from the authors or publishers, and involving any experts necessary to achieve their goals.

Speaking on behalf of the committee, Vice-Chairman Dr. Muttaka Rabe Darma highlighted that the books would promote Katsina State and attract investors. He assured that the committee would work diligently to meet their objectives and thanked the governor for the opportunity to undertake this important task.
