WE WOULD INPLEMENT OCTOBER AGREEMENT WITH ORGANIZED LABOUR ...Says Minister of labour

   The federal government says it is determined to implement the 2ng October signed with the organised labour 
    This is to enable the two parties and other stakeholders towards achieveing industrial peace and hermomny as well as improve worker's welfare
    The state  minister of labour and productivity Mr, Nkeiruka C. Onyejeocha stated this in a press statement issued to Newsmen in Abuja.
    He noted  that a substantial breakthrough had  been achieved in the payments of wage award of N35,000 for six months had so far made four months payments while some states in the federation have commenced payments in ernerst while the remaining two months for January and February are being processed
      Similarly the minister assured that a 37 Member tripartite committee to review and comes out with acceptable   national minimum wage has so far held two meetings and discussion are still in progress.
  The minister also  gave assurance that the federal government has directed various state governments and the private sector  to implement wage award for their workers and now been receiving favourable compliance. 
     He announced that government has come up with  stringent measures  to encourage micro and small enterprises as outlined in Mr. President's speech to the nation. This according to the minister include rehabilitation of refinariers, accelerate the process of job creation, effective distribution of fertilizer to famers to boost agriculture, including other palliatives to the citezenry among others.
