Hizbah Board's Progressive Engagements with Islamic Scholars Foster Unity in Katsina State

The newly formed Hizbah Board in Katsina State, established by Governor Malam Dikko Umar Radda to enhance moral values, youth education, and address marriage challenges, continues its extensive tour aimed at fostering mutual understanding among Islamic scholars with diverse perspectives in Katsina state.
Dr. Aminu Usman, the Commander General of Katsina state Hizbah Board, is leading this tour throughout Katsina city. He emphasized that the Islamic Religious Authority, created to promote virtue and prevent evil, intends to extend its visits to all 34 local governments in Katsina state, engaging with Islamic religious groups, security forces, and traditional rulers.
Addressing the religious scholars, Dr. Aminu Usman conveyed the purpose of the agency established by the Katsina state government, stating, "We have come to seek your prayers, advice, and support for this new initiative aimed at combating negative habits."
The interaction was characterized by mutual understanding and contentment as religious scholars from different groups warmly welcomed Dr. Aminu, providing valuable advice and expressing unwavering support. They collectively called upon the Commander General of Hizbah and his team to uphold values such as fear of God, justice, and patience.
The Monday visit commenced at the residence of Islamic scholar Sheikh Husamatu Abbas Gambarawa and Sheikh Abdullahi Maisaje. Subsequent visits included the Katsina State of Jama'atu Nasrul'islam led by Alhaji Bilya Sanda, the residence of Alhaji Abu Modibbo, Imam Abbate's house in Unguwar Alkali Katsina, Khalifa Sheikh Hamisu Danfili's Zawiyyah and the Rasulul'a'azam group under the leadership of Sheikh Yakubu Muntari Filin Folo.
Accompanying the Hizbah's delegation were the administrative officer of the agency, the head of the financial department, the Operation Commander, and various team members who contributed to the success of the trip.
