Armed Bandits Intensifies Killing Spree In Katsina, As Radda Sprints Out

Despite armed Bandits rampant killing spree in Katsina State, Governor Dikko Umaru Radda sprints out of the country to Saudi Arabia.

The Governor left the shores of the country to attend a meeting with no connection with happenings in the state in Ridyah city of Saudi Arabia.

Reports by our correspondent on Wednesday, indicated that, armed Bandits have killed about 50 children in Musawa town on Tuesday night during an Islamic event in the area.

Further investigations disclosed that, scores of children at the event sustained various degrees of injury, while some are presently receiving treatment at the intensive care centre of the Federal Medical Centre in Katsina.

The investigations also revealed that, five other persons were killed in Sayaya village in Matazu Local Government Area on Tuesday this week.

The activities of the bandits in the state has continued unabated, as earlier attacks in Danmusa LGA witnessed the killing of nine persons and the kidnapping of five others.

Investigations also revealed that, the bandits have extended their operations beyond the seven Frontline Local Government areas to Malumfashi, Matazu and Musawa where source shows that, they are currently having a field day.

It would be recalled that, the bandits enclaves include Jibia, Batsari, Safana, Kankara, Faskari, Sabuwa and Dandume council areas.
