Alhaji Ibrahim Shema CON Launches Tinubu/Dikko Women & Youth Centre, Announces Leadership

Former Katsina State Governor and Sarkin Fulani, Alhaji Ibrahim Shehu Shema, CON, has officially launched the Tinubu/Dikko Women & Youth Centre, with the campaign slogan "Tinubu and Dikko again  2027."

The inauguration took place on Tuesday, July 14, 2026, at the Centre's headquarters located along Daura Road in Katsina metropolis. The event commenced at about 11:00 a.m. and lasted until approximately 2:00 p.m.

The ceremony attracted prominent leaders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and senior government officials from across Katsina State. Among those in attendance were the Governor of Katsina State, Malam Dikko Umar Radda, PhD; the Speaker of the Katsina State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Nasir Yahaya Daura, MP; the Katsina State APC Chairman, Dr. Bashir Gambo Saulawa; former Deputy Governor of Katsina State, Alhaji Tukur Ahmed Jikamshi; renowned businessman Alhaji Dahiru Barau Mangal; as well as other top government officials, political aspirants, elected office holders, and a large number of APC supporters.

Following goodwill messages from distinguished guests and motivational songs encouraging support for the APC, the leadership of the Centre was announced as follows:

Alhaji Salisu Yusuf Majigiri – Director-General

Hon. Bashir Tanimu Dutsinma – Secretary

Hon. Ibrahim Lawal Dankaba – strategist 

Hon. Abdulwahab Sani Store – Administrative Secretary

Alhaji Yusuf Shehu Shema – Director of Welfare

Hon. Jamilu Sadauki Dutsinma – Financial Secretary

Alhaji Rabiu Gambo Bakori – Funtua Zone Coordinator

Other members of the Centre's management committee include Hon. Abdulhadi Abdullahi Kankara, Hon. Idris Yakubu Danchafa (Jibia), Hon. Lawal Audu Kankara, and Hon. Salisu Gambo Kaita.

In addition, Mr. Wale was appointed Director of Media, while Hon. Mustapha Halilu Dutsinma was named Youth Leader of the Centre.

For the women's wing, the following appointments were announced:

Hajiya Binta Ado Sandamu – Women's Leader, Daura Zone

Hajiya Jari Yar'Adua – Women's Leader, Katsina Zone

Hajiya Ramatu Shehu Bakori – Women's Leader, Funtua Zone

At the end of the event, it was also announced that the names of the Centre's officials at the local government level had been released as part of efforts to expand the Centre's activities across all parts of Katsina State.
