In a fresh bid to mount pressure on Governor Siminelayi Fubara, the Rivers State House of Assembly has moved again to impeach the Governor and his Deputy.
Reports say, the assembly convened an emergency meeting to deliberate on alleged actions of the Governor that violate the laws.
The Rivers Assembly accused the Governor and his Deputy of spending funds without the legislative approval.
They also frowned on the Governor's decision to demolish the assembly complex.
