Katsina State Governor, Malam Dikko Umaru Radda, has highlighted significant security improvements in Musawa and neighbouring communities, attributing the progress to cooperation among the government, traditional rulers, security agencies and residents.

Radda spoke during a visit to the District Head of Musawa, Alhaji Sagir Abdullahi Inde, and other traditional leaders ahead of the Tinubu–Dikko 2027 campaign rally.

"By the grace of Allah, we have made considerable progress in addressing the security challenges affecting our communities. We appreciate the cooperation of our traditional rulers and residents and remain committed to sustaining these gains," he said.

The Governor recalled Musawa’s overwhelming support for the APC in the 2023 elections, appreciating the community’s continued cooperation with his administration.

"Four years ago, we came here seeking your prayers and support, which you generously gave us. Since assuming office, we have continued working to fulfil our promises and develop Katsina State," he noted.

Radda highlighted Musawa’s representation in federal and state governments through ministerial, commissioner and advisory appointments, describing it as evidence of his administration’s commitment to inclusive governance.

He also cited support for traditional institutions, youth employment, regular allowances for recognised Islamic leaders and the Community Development Programme as key interventions aimed at strengthening grassroots development.

Commending the District Head, the Governor acknowledged his guidance and cooperation in promoting security and community welfare.

"As we approach the 2027 elections, I seek your continued prayers and support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Vice President Kashim Shettima and all our candidates. We pray for peaceful elections and the opportunity to continue delivering on our promises," he appealed.
