Presidential Adviser on Political Affairs, Ibrahim Kabir Masari, has called on residents of Katsina State to support the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor Dikko Umar Radda in 2027, as he inaugurated the construction of a 1.5-kilometre road linking Kofar Durbi to Kwanar ’Yan Lemu in Katsina metropolis.

The road project, facilitated by the member representing Katsina Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Hon. Sani Aliyu Danlami, is expected to improve road access within the area.

Speaking at the inauguration, Masari commended Danlami for his efforts to attract development projects to his constituency, urging him to sustain initiatives aimed at improving the welfare of his constituents.

He also appealed to residents of Katsina State to support the APC in the 2027 general elections, describing the party’s re-election campaign as a movement that should extend from the federal government to the grassroots.

Masari said Nigerians should consider what he described as the positive impact of the Tinubu administration’s policies on the national economy and other aspects of daily life. He urged voters to give both Tinubu and Radda another term in office.

In his remarks, Danlami outlined some of the projects and empowerment initiatives undertaken in his constituency, including road construction, youth employment, support for farmers and financial assistance to residents.

He also listed the distribution of vehicles and motorcycles, the provision of fertiliser to farmers and financial assistance to 100 beneficiaries among the programmes implemented to support residents of his constituency.

The Chairman of Katsina Local Government Area, Hon. Isa Miqdad, popularly known as A.D. Saudi, welcomed the commencement of the road project and commended Danlami for facilitating the initiative.

Miqdad also praised Governor Radda for his support and cooperation with stakeholders working to deliver development projects across the state.

Other dignitaries at the event included the Lamido of Katsina, Alhaji Jabir Salisu Tsauri; former Katsina State Hisbah commander, Aminu Usman, popularly known as Abu Ammar; and Barrister Abba Dahiru Mangal, alongside other political and community leaders.
