The NNPC Engineering and Technical Company Ltd. (NETCO), Nigeria’s premier indigenous engineering company and a wholly owned Business Unit of NNPC Ltd., has recorded a major milestone, following its recent induction into the Project Management Institute (PMI) Global Executive Council.
To mark the milestone, NETCO's Managing Director, Engr. Salahudeen Tahir led a team from PMI and NETCO to present the Certificate of Induction to NNPC Ltd.'s Executive Vice President, Upstream, Mr. Udy Ntia, in Abuja.
The induction and certification demonstrate NETCO’s commitment to strengthening project management capabilities, benchmarking against global best practices and promoting knowledge sharing within the profession.
The Project Management Institute (PMI) Global Executive Council is an exclusive, membership-based leadership forum for top-tier organisations and government bodies.
Through its membership in the PMI Global Executive Council, NETCO is also positioned to gain access to global project management networks and strategic opportunities to build large-scale internal project leadership capacity, enhance governance and drive digital infrastructure transformation.
