Batsari is a local government area in Katsina State, Nigeria. It is situated in the northern part of the country. Batsari town serves as the administrative headquarters of the local government area.
In recent years, Batsari and other areas in Katsina State have experienced heightened insecurity, particularly in relation to banditry and attacks by armed groups. These security challenges have resulted in the displacement of many residents, loss of lives, and destruction of properties.
