NPC CHAIRMAN RECEIVES UNICEF COUNTRY REPRESENTATIVE

Today, the Chairman of National Population Commission, Hon. Nasir Isa Kwarra, fnsa, received in audience, the UNICEF Country Representative in Nigeria, Ms. Cristian Munduate at the Commission's Headquarters, Abuja.
The meeting provided an opportunity for both leaders to discuss areas of collaboration and mutual interest, especially the ongoing digital birth registration drive across the States of Nigeria. This critical project aims to increase the birth registration coverage in Nigeria.
The courtesy visit underscores the strong partnership between the NPC and UNICEF Nigeria, as they work together to improve the Civil Registration and Vital Statistics (e-CRVS) system in Nigeria.
