The late Magajiya Radda was perharps born in 1901 at Radda. Immidiately at five she was enrolled into the usual Quranic informal school were she  studied. At seventeen, she was handed over to Malam Mijinyawa, who tired the nuptial pad with her..Majinyawa was the son the chief ward of Muduru, Muhammadu Gidado. Then, after the death of Barebari Suleiman, the junior brother of Emir of Katsina, Muhammadu Dikko, then the emir nominated her husband to succed him, and that was in 1917. Mijinyawa died in the year 1926 then she was again married to Umaru, the junior brother of the deceased. Umaru was also turbured the new chief of Radda.
Amina was said to be a woman of substance, emotions and above all she was calm and reserve. This nature made her to be turciturn and intobat. You could hardly notice her being aggressive or extrobat. She died in July 1949.
It was remembered that the late Umaru Musa Yar’adua Katsina who was also the president of the Federal Republic was once married to Hajiya Hauwa Umar Radda, the daugter of late Barebari Umar who was also nick named Danyen gari.
