The Katsina State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB), under the leadership of Alhaji Kabir Magaji, has called on teachers, parents, and its staff to use the blessed month of Ramadan as a period of reflection and inspiration. He urged them to embrace the teachings of Ramadan, which emphasize patience, discipline, compassion, and selflessness, and to apply these values in their daily lives and responsibilities.
Alhaji Kabir Magaji encouraged teachers to reflect on their role in shaping the next generation, ensuring that they instill the values of honesty, kindness, and tolerance in their learners. He called on parents to strengthen family bonds, instill good manners in their children, and support their education through prayers and guidance.
He also reminded SUBEB staff of their duty to uphold integrity, dedication, and service to humanity, emphasizing that Ramadan is a time for self-evaluation and renewed commitment to positive change. He urged everyone to offer prayers for peace, security, and development in Katsina State and beyond, reinforcing the need for unity and collective progress.
Furthermore, he encouraged acts of charity and kindness, especially towards orphans, the less privileged, and those in need, as these reflect the true essence of Ramadan and promote harmony within the community. He concluded by calling on all stakeholders to use this sacred month to reflect, inspire, and contribute positively to society.
