The Commissioner of Police in Katsina State, Ali Umar Fage, on Wednesday conducted an unscheduled inspection of the ongoing 2025/2026 Police Constables Recruitment Examination, expressing satisfaction with the peaceful and orderly conduct of the exercise.

The inspection took place at the examination centre located at Hassan Usman Katsina Polytechnic along Dutsin-ma Road, where shortlisted candidates from across the state were participating in the written test.

Fage, who was received by senior officials overseeing the exercise, including a Deputy Commissioner of Police, Ramatu Sada, and a representative of the Police Service Commission, Aminu Abubakar Malumfashi, toured the examination halls and monitored the conduct of the test.

Speaking after the inspection, the police commissioner commended the level of professionalism displayed by invigilators and security personnel, noting that the process was transparent and in line with established guidelines.

He said the coordination among officials had ensured a hitch-free exercise, adding that the security arrangements at the venue were robust enough to guarantee the safety of candidates and examination materials.

Fage reiterated that the recruitment process is free of charge and cautioned candidates and their families against dealing with individuals or groups demanding money in exchange for assistance.

He also urged candidates to remain focused, avoid examination malpractice, and promptly report any suspicious activities to security personnel at the venue.

The commissioner further assured that adequate security measures would be sustained throughout the duration of the exercise.

The Katsina State Police Command also appreciated the cooperation of candidates, parents, and members of the public in ensuring the smooth conduct of the recruitment process.
