Katsina State's Commissioner for Information and Culture, Dr. Bala Salisu Zango, has announced that President Ahmed Tinubu will visit the state on Friday, May 2, to commission several significant projects initiated by the current administration under Governor Mal. Dikko Radda.

During a press briefing, Dr. Zango praised the Radda administration for its progress across various sectors, including agriculture, socio-economics, education, and security. He highlighted the impact of these initiatives on the state's development.

Among the key projects to be commissioned is the construction of the road connecting Dutsin-Ma to Kano. Dr. Zango noted that this development is expected to significantly reduce travel time for both travelers and drivers, improving connectivity within the region.

Additionally, President Tinubu will inaugurate the Katsina State Agricultural Mechanisation Centre located along the Tashar Bala Kano road. This facility aims to enhance agricultural productivity and food security, which Dr. Zango believes will lay the foundation for long-term prosperity in the agricultural sector of Katsina State.

The upcoming visit marks President Tinubu's first trip to Katsina since he took office as the President and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Dr. Zango emphasized the importance of this visit, describing it as a memorable opportunity to showcase the developmental achievements made by the APC-led administration in the state.

The president’s visit will also serve as a platform for dialogue between the state government, stakeholders, and the president, addressing key challenges facing Katsina State with the aim of finding viable solutions.

In closing, Dr. Zango urged the people of Katsina State to extend a warm welcome to President Tinubu and to actively participate in the commissioning ceremonies.
