Katsina, March 26, 2025 – The Katsina State Command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) has distributed food items to people with special needs as part of its Ramadan relief efforts.

The initiative, led by the State Commandant, Comdt. Aminu Datti Ahmad, was carried out in collaboration with the Deputy Chairperson of the Katsina Youth Council, Ambassador Khadija Suleman Saulawa.

Speaking during the distribution on Wednesday, Comdt. Datti stated that the gesture aligns with his ongoing efforts since the beginning of Ramadan to provide food aid to those in need. He emphasized the importance of extending support to people with special needs, ensuring that assistance reaches those who require it most.

The donated items included rice, pasta, macaroni, sugar, and other essential food supplies, benefiting 38 recipients, including men, women, and youths with special needs.

Beneficiaries expressed gratitude to the NSCDC and Amb. Khadija Suleman Saulawa for the support, offering prayers for those facilitating the humanitarian initiative.
