Army Recruitment: Senator Abdul'aziz Yar'adua Secures Slots For 90 Youths.

Senator Abdul'aziz Musa Yar'adua of Katsina Central Senatorial District has made history as he secured recruitment into the Nigerian Army to Ninety 90 youth from the Central Senatorial District.
To make the history straight, the Senator also secured Forty additional slots for Katsina State to add up with the initial One Hundred and Twenty slots allocated to it and other states of the federation.
This made the state to be at the forefront by superseding other states of the federation with number of Army recruitment slots of 160.
On Friday the 12 of January, 2024 last batch of Twenty two out of the total number of the successful youths left Senator Abdul'aziz Yar'adua Campaign Office in Katsina to Falgore Training Ground.
Though the newly Army recruit under training will enjoy free feeding and accommodation at the Camp, the Senator through his courageous lieutenants Engineer Sirajo Yazid Abukur, Alhaji Abubakar Bala Saulawa and Alhaji Umar Faruk AK assisted them with N20,000 each for unforeseen circumstances while in training.
In his farewell message through the Chairman Coordinators Forum Engineer Sirajo Yazid Abukur, the Senator charged them to be good ambassadors not only for the state but Nigeria at large.
Senator Yar'adua also pointed out to them that historically Katsina has played a vital role in the Army field, which according to him made it to become prominent hence the need for them to be unique by abiding by the rules and regulations during and after the training.
While congratulating them, he prayed for their success, he warned them vehemently against drug abuse.
Also speaking at the farewell venue, one of the closed associates of the Senator Alhaji Abubakar Bala Saulawa advised them to be obedient and respect one another as well as to be wary of drug abuse.
Abubakar Bala also pointed out to them that they are their to defend the prestige of the state and the nation at large particularly in this period of insecurity and therefore must strive hard to scale the training to regain the freedom of their communities.
Speaking on behalf of the successful youths, Abubakar Umar and Yahaya Magaji Yandaki from Katsina and Kaita local government areas respectively expressed appreciation to Senator Abdul'aziz Yar'adua for securing the slots and prayed to Allah to shower blessing and guidance on the Senator; The also pledged to be good ambassadors during, after the training and while in Khaki.
