Katsina State Governor, Malam Dikko Umaru Radda, has conducted an on-the-spot assessment of tricycles being assembled for distribution to all 361 wards across the State’s 34 Local Government Areas.

The Governor inspected the tricycles at the premises of Muhammadu Buhari House, under the auspices of the Special Adviser to the Governor on Local Government Inspectorate and the Primary Healthcare Development Agency.

The Assistant Director from the Office of the Special Adviser on Local Government Inspectorate, Alhaji Mukhtar Shehu, conducted the Governor round for the inspection while explaining the assembly process, specifications, and maintenance plan for the tricycles.

Governor Radda examined the quality, durability, and suitability of the tricycles for both urban and rural terrains across the state. He commended the team for the standard of work and urged them to maintain quality control as assembly continues.

The state government is expected to distribute 361 tricycles, one for each of the 361 wards across the 34 Local Government Areas of the state. The intervention is designed to improve mobility, ease transportation challenges at the grassroots, and support service delivery.
