The Governor of Katsina State, Dr. Dikko Umaru Radda, on Wednesday paid a courtesy visit to the Executive Chairman of the Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS), Dr. Zacch Adedeji, at the agency’s headquarters in Abuja.
The visit, which underscores Katsina State’s support for ongoing tax reforms, focused on deepening collaboration with FIRS in areas such as digital innovation, voluntary tax compliance, enforcement, and grassroots sensitization.
During the meeting, Governor Radda praised Dr. Adedeji’s leadership, describing the FIRS as “the engine room of Nigeria’s economic growth.” He reaffirmed his administration’s readiness to align with the new tax laws and support national efforts to boost internally generated revenue through strategic partnerships.
