Renowned American magazine TIME has named Nigerian billionaire and Chairman of the Dangote Group, Aliko Dangote, among the world’s 100 most impactful philanthropists.

Founded in 1923 in New York, TIME is known for its prestigious lists such as TIME 100 Most Influential People, Person of the Year, and TIME 100 Philanthropists, which spotlight global figures making a difference across various sectors.

In its latest report, TIME praised Dangote’s unwavering commitment to humanitarian causes in Africa through the Aliko Dangote Foundation, which spends more than ₦50 billion annually on charitable initiatives. The foundation focuses on improving public health, advancing education, combating poverty, and providing emergency relief during disasters.
