The Katsina State Safety and Road Traffic Authority (KASSAROTA), under the leadership of the Director General, Major Garba Yahaya Rimi (Rtd), extends warm felicitations to the Executive Governor of Katsina State, Malam Dikko Umaru Radda, his Deputy, Malam Faruk Lawal Jobe, the Emir of Katsina, Alhaji (Dr) Abdulmumini Kabir Usman, the Emir of Daura, Alhaji (Dr) Umar Faruk Umar, and the entire people of Katsina State on the successful completion of the holy month of Ramadan and the celebration of Eid-el-Fitr.

The Authority commends the Governor and his administration for their continued support and commitment towards ensuring safety and order on our roads, as well as the overall security of lives and property across the state.

KASSAROTA also appreciates the traditional institutions for their unwavering role in promoting peace, unity, and adherence to societal values, which are essential for the development and stability of the state.

As Muslims celebrate this joyous occasion, the Authority urges motorists, pedestrians, and all road users to adhere strictly to traffic rules and regulations.

The festive period often witnesses increased human and vehicular movement, and it is imperative that everyone exercises patience, caution, and responsibility to prevent road crashes and ensure a safe celebration.

The Authority reassures the public of its readiness to deploy personnel and resources across strategic locations to manage traffic flow and respond promptly to any emergencies before, during, and after the festivities.

KASSAROTA calls on all residents to embody the virtues of discipline, tolerance, and mutual respect, as exemplified during the Ramadan period, and to sustain them beyond the celebrations.

Once again, KASSAROTA wishes the Government and people of Katsina State a peaceful and joyous Eid-el-Fitr celebration.
