Early this morning, Katsina State Governor, Malam Dikko Umaru Radda, received Sheikh Ibrahim Dahiru Bauchi, Khalifa of the Tijjaniyyah Order and successor to his late father, Sheikh Dahiru Usman Bauchi, on a courtesy visit at the Government House, Katsina.
The renowned Islamic scholar and spiritual leader is in the state to participate in the 40th Annual National Maulud, being hosted by Katsina State, which is expected to attract millions of faithful from within and outside the country.
Sheikh Ibrahim Dahiru Bauchi and his entourage were led to the Governor by the Honourable Commissioner for Religious Affairs, Alhaji Shehu Dabai.
Special prayers were offered during the visit for the success of the Maulud activities, as well as for peace, progress and prosperity of Katsina State and the nation at large.
