The General Officer Commanding (GOC) 8 Division, Nigerian Army, and Commander, Joint Task Force North West of Operation HADARIN DAJI, Major General Godwin Micheal Mutkut, today was the special guest of Governor Dikko Umaru Radda (PhD), at the Katsina State Government House.

Accompanied by some of the 8 Division’s Principal Staff Officers, Gen. Mutkut, held a meeting with Governor Radda, on ways to tackle Katsina’s lingering insecurity.

For the benefit of hindsight, Katsina State falls within the GOC’s Area of Responsibilty.

General Mutkut’s visit is coming shortly after Gov Radda’s interface with the Army High Command in Abuja.

Today’s parley at the Katsina State Government House also demonstrates Governor Dikko Radda’s unwavering commitment to ending banditry and security threats facing the State.
