The Vice Chancellor of Umaru Musa Yar’adua University, Professor Shehu Salihu Muhammad, has extended heartfelt sympathy to the Governor of Katsina State, Malam Dikko Umaru Radda, PhD, following a recent road accident involving the Governor's convoy.

In a message released on behalf of the university community, Professor Muhammad expressed deep concern over the incident, which resulted in minor injuries to some individuals. He conveyed gratitude to Allah for sparing lives and for the divine protection granted during the accident.

“We are immensely grateful to Allah (SWT) for His mercy and protection. We pray for His continued guidance and safety for His Excellency, his family, and the people of Katsina State,” the statement read.

The Vice Chancellor praised Governor Radda’s leadership and dedication, describing it as a source of inspiration to the academic community and the broader society. He prayed for the Governor's renewed strength and continued good health in service to the state.

Professor Muhammad also prayed for the swift recovery of those injured and reaffirmed the university’s solidarity and prayers during this period.
