Katsina State Government pledged to settle all medical bills and expenses to the nine victims of the car accident that involved the State Governor, His Excellency Malam Dikko Umaru Radda, PhD, CON.
On Sunday evening 20th July, 2025, Malam Dikko Umaru Radda PhD CON was involved in a minor car accident at Katsina Road, Daura, near the school of Health Technology Daura. The accident occurred when a private Sharon Volkswagen vehicle hit the vehicle carrying His Excellency, the state Governor
No casualty was reported. However, two out of the nine Passengers, inside the private Sharon Volkswagen vehicle got simple fracture, while the other seven sustained various injuries and brushes. They are currently receiving treatment at the Federal Medical Center Daura.
A delegation from the Katsina State Government led by the Hon Commissioner Ministry of Information and Culture, Dr Bala Salisu Zango visited the nine victims at the medical center. Their condition is very well improving. The state delegation assured the accident victims of Katsina State government.commitment to settle all their medical bills and expenses.
The victims and their relatives expressed appreciation to Katsina State government over the concern and compassion accorded to them.
