KATSINA — The Assistant Inspector General of Police, Zone 14 Headquarters, Katsina, AIG Aliyu Abubakar Musa, psc+, has ordered the deployment of water-tight security measures across Katsina and Kaduna States ahead of the forthcoming Eid-ul-Adha festivities.
The directive, in line with the instructions of the Inspector-General of Police, IGP Kayode Adeolu Egbetokun, Ph.D., NPM, aims to ensure the safety and security of residents, particularly at Eid prayer grounds, recreational centres, and other vulnerable locations during the celebrations.
AIG Musa urged the public to remain vigilant and to promptly report any suspicious persons or activities to the nearest security personnel.
He also extended warm Eid-ul-Adha greetings to the Muslim Ummah in Katsina and Kaduna States, praying for a peaceful and joyous celebration.
