In a strategic move to enhance its operational effectiveness and deepen community engagement, the Katsina State Road Traffic Authority (KASSAROTA) has conducted a high-level visit to the Katsina Emirate.
The delegation, led by retired Assistant Inspector General of Police Danlami Yar’adua (mni), who is also the Chairman of the KASSAROTA Board, paid a courtesy visit to His Royal Highness, the Emir of Katsina, Dr Abdulmumini Kabir Usman, to seek royal blessings and consolidate stakeholder collaboration.
The visit formed part of the authority’s ongoing efforts to foster synergy between security agencies, traditional institutions, and the general public in improving traffic management and road safety governance across the state.
In his address, AIG Yar’adua (Rtd) expressed deep appreciation to the Emir for his longstanding support, which he noted has significantly empowered the authority in fulfilling its mandate. He assured the royal institution of continued cooperation and commitment to public service delivery.

During the engagement, the delegation met with KASSAROTA staff and local stakeholders in the zone to listen to their concerns and discuss strategies to enhance efficiency and staff welfare. The visit also provided a platform for assessing field operations and addressing key administrative challenges.
The visit concluded with a meeting at the KASSAROTA Zonal Office, chaired by ASTC Abdurrahman Muntari Kankara, where the leadership reiterated its dedication to accountability, teamwork, and strengthening the authority’s bond with the communities it serves.
