Katsina State Hisbah Board has directed all private schools in the state to suspend academic activities during the Ramadan period in compliance with the state government's directive.

In a public announcement issued on Tuesday, February 27, 2025, the Commander General of the Hisbah Board, Dr. Aminu Usman (Abu Ammar), emphasized that schools must observe this directive to enable students to fully participate in religious activities during the holy month. The directive also applies to extra lessons and other academic engagements.

Dr. Usman urged school proprietors to strictly adhere to the order, warning that non-compliance would not be tolerated.
