In a decisive move to mitigate the repercussions of subsidy removal, Katsina State Governor, Malam Dikko Umaru Radda, has granted approval for the disbursement of a N10,000 allowance to civil servants and a N5,000 allowance to pensioners in the state.

Today, the state's Head of Service, Alhaji Usman Isyaku, publicly announced the governor's commitment to the workforce's well-being, marking a proactive step in the implementation of measures to ease the impact of subsidy removal. These allowances are set to be effective from January, embodying Governor Radda's dedication to gradually introduce thoughtful measures for the financial resilience of the state's employees and retirees.
