Katsina State Governor, Malam Dikko Umaru Radda, has felicitated former Governor of the State, Barr. Ibrahim Shehu Shema, on the occasion of his 69th birthday.
Governor Radda, in a congratulatory message described the former Governor as a statesman whose years of service to Katsina State remain indelible and worthy of commendation.
The Governor noted that Barr. Shema's tenure as Governor contributed significantly to the infrastructural and institutional development of the state, and his experience continues to be a valuable asset to Katsina and the nation at large.
Governor Radda also commended Barr. Shema for his loyalty and steadfast commitment to the ideals of the All Progressives Congress, APC, and for his continued support for peace, unity and progress in Katsina State.
He said the government and people of Katsina State are proud of his legacies and his matured role in promoting stability beyond party lines.
"On behalf of the Government and the good people of Katsina State, I join family, friends and well-wishers to celebrate a distinguished leader. I pray that Almighty Allah grants him good health, long life and more wisdom to continue to serve humanity," Governor Radda stated.
