Katsina State Governor, Malam Dikko Umar Radda, on Tuesday declared that he has "no doubt, no fear and no hesitation" over the All Progressives Congress (APC)'s chances in the 2027 general elections as the party inaugurated the Tinubu Dikko Again 2027 campaign office in Katsina.

The campaign office, situated along Daura Road near Hajj Camp, was established under the leadership of former Katsina State Governor, Barrister Ibrahim Shehu Shema, to coordinate grassroots mobilisation for the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor Radda.

The inauguration drew a large gathering of APC leaders, government officials, political stakeholders, traditional party loyalists, women and youth groups from across the 34 local government areas of the state.

Speaking at the event, Governor Radda expressed confidence that the APC would secure another electoral victory in 2027, attributing his optimism to what he described as the party's strong grassroots structures, the support of its leadership and the confidence of ordinary people in his administration.

"I have no doubt, no fear and no hesitation about our chances in the next election," Radda declared.

The governor said the newly inaugurated campaign organisation has structures stretching from the state level to all local government areas, wards and polling units, adding that it would play a key role in mobilising women, youths and other supporters ahead of the elections.

He noted that the APC would unveil its campaign programmes when the official campaign period begins and would engage opposition parties through its policies and achievements.

Radda also praised former Governor Ibrahim Shehu Shema for spearheading the establishment of the campaign platform, describing it as a strategic initiative that would further strengthen the APC's political base across Katsina State.

In his remarks, Shema urged APC members to remain united behind President Tinubu and Governor Radda, saying national development requires patience, sacrifice and collective responsibility.

The former governor observed that no administration could fulfil all its campaign promises within a single tenure, stressing that effective leadership is measured by the courage to take difficult decisions that serve the country's long-term interests.

According to him, the economic and security reforms introduced by the Tinubu administration are aimed at addressing longstanding national challenges and should be given sufficient time to produce the desired results.

Shema appealed to Nigerians to continue praying for the country's leaders while supporting government efforts to improve security, revive the economy and promote social development.

He also called on traditional rulers, religious leaders, community leaders and development partners to collaborate with government in tackling insecurity, particularly kidnapping and other violent crimes, describing security as a shared responsibility.

The former governor further urged APC members to intensify grassroots mobilisation by engaging directly with voters from house to house, community to community and across polling units ahead of the 2027 elections.

He advised party structures at all levels to remain active and maintain constant engagement with the electorate instead of waiting until the official campaign season.

Expressing optimism about the country's future, Shema said he believed Nigeria, particularly the northern region, would witness improvements in security and economic development with sustained public support for ongoing government reforms.

Among those who addressed the gathering were businessman Alhaji Dahiru Barau Mangal (GOC), former Deputy Governor of Katsina State Alhaji Tukur Ahmed Jikamshi, who chairs the Renewed Hope in the state, and the APC State Chairman, Dr Bishir Gambo Saulawa.

Other dignitaries present included Alhaji Idi Kwado Talban Damagaran, the Katsina State Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Bishir Tanimu Gambo, who also serves as Secretary of the Tinubu Dikko Again 2027 organisation, Nasiru Yahaya Daura Speaker House of Assembly, alongside senior APC leaders, government officials and party supporters from across the state.
