Katsina State Governor, Malam Dikko Umaru Radda, has dispatched a high-level security delegation to Funtua to review and restrategise the security framework across Funtua, Faskari, Sabuwa, Dandume and Bakori Local Government Areas.
The delegation comprises the Commissioner for Internal Security and Home Affairs, the Commissioner of Police, the Brigade Commander, the Director of the Department of State Services (DSS) and the State Commandant of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC).
The team is expected to engage security stakeholders from the five local government areas, assess prevailing security challenges and develop a more coordinated approach to tackling insecurity across the affected communities.
