Jobe Recounts Achievements Recorded By Katsina State Form Creation To Date

The Katsina State Deputy Governor Malam Faruk Lawal, has acknowledged the tremendous achievements recorded by Katsina State from its creation to date.

Malam Faruk Lawal was speaking during the 39 years anniversary for the creation of Katsina State held at Presidential Bouquet Hall, Government House Katsina.

Addressing the gathering, the Deputy Governor Malam Faruk Lawal, highlighted some of the major achievements recorded by the State from its creation to date.

The Deputy Governor also highlighted the contributions of the present administration under the leadership of Governor Dikko Umaru Radda towards the development of the State.

Malam Faruk Lawal said significant progress has been made in key sectors, including education, healthcare, agriculture, water resources, infrastructure, road development, as well as human and capital development.

He noted that the anniversary provides an opportunity to reflect on the state's journey over the past 39 years, celebrate its achievements and renew commitment towards building a more prosperous future for its people.

The ceremony also featured the presentation of awards to outstanding government officials, civil servants, security personnel and individuals recognised for their dedication, service and contributions to the development of Katsina State.

Senator Ibrahim Ida who served as the guest speaker at the anniversary present a paper on how Katsina state was created and the role played by the past leaders for the actualization of the state from creation to date.

The Secretary to the Katsina State Government, Barrister Abdullahi Garba Faskari in a welcome address appreciate all and sundry that witness the anniversary and Commend the present state government for slating the 23rd of September every year marking the celebration of the state.

Highlights of the celebration included colourful performances by the Katsina State Cultural Troupe and political singers, adding cultural and entertainment value to the occasion.

The event brought together stakeholders from across the state to commemorate Katsina's 39 years of existence and celebrate its journey of development.
